This was epic for me as I am constantly battling with weight. Jared helped me to formulate a workout plan that included exercises that were not just going to the gym and lifting weights, but things that could keep my attention better.
I get bored easily with traditional weight lifting. He also ensured the workouts focused not only on the glamour muscles, but also the smaller muscles that require development to prevent injury.
Because I am no longer in the same region as Jared, but still look to him for advice on training he created a specially made video I requested he explained the function of the rotator cuff, how to properly exercise it to prevent injury, and explained that it’s a common misconception that most shoulder injuries are not the rotator cuff.
My overall experience with Jared as a trainer has been a much better experience than with any of the trainers I have tried over the years. Partly because he truly cares about the goals of those he is training and also because he is able to think outside the box with training to find things that a person would like to do rather than just lifting weights to try to get in shape as I have experienced with all of my other trainers.”

I approached Jared early last summer having formerly been a student in his martial arts class.

He understands how important the I-T band is to the knee and we have worked on exercises to stretch the band which has improved my flexibility and strengthened my knees. We have also worked on upper body strengthening to encompass the "whole body" workout.

However my knees were swelling and increasingly painful, and braces on both knees were not offering any real relief. I had already cut back on running, and was contemplating the same for tennis when I decided to ask Jared for help.
Jared created a personalized program of stretching and leg strengthening, and I began to see almost immediate improvement. Fast forward to today, and my knee problems have not been an issue for almost two years. While I’ve replaced running with more frequent trips to the gym, I actually gained a noticeable step or two of quickness and speed back in my tennis game. And most importantly I am playing pain free.
Jared’s knowledge and advice have helped me deal with the occasional soreness, and he has customized my group and individual workouts to keep them from becoming routine. He knows how hard I like to push, balances education with the training which keeps it interesting, and has even mixed in martial arts and boxing moves which provide a unique workout that is surprisingly fun and challenging.
My wife now enjoys our combined weekly boxing, strength, and fitness training session as much as I do. And she has added a couple of steps to her court coverage too.
